Sun looked at Shannon. Sun remembered the tough and emotional time Sun had before she had gotten on the plane, along with spilling coffee on Jin. She even wondered if Jin had a real reason for going behind it all..Sun remembered the flower...She felt her heart.
"I guess...Or, I don't think we were going on holiday exactly." Sun said moving her hands, as she thought about Jin. "Were you?" Sun asked.
Sun didn't like fast food, her food was Korean food and plants or vegetables, but Sun laughed at what Shannon said.
"That would be a change." Sun rubbed her chest, she felt hungry and thirsty a little talking about foods and water.

Shannon shifted uncomfortably at Sun's question. She didn't know whether to say she was on holiday or not..but then would it seem weird that she was on holiday with her brother , step brother , whatever.Then again it would seem a whole lot less weird than the actual reason.
"Well...I guess you could say it was a holiday.I was erm...looking for work you see.And erm..my friend told me that Australia was a good place to work but I found nothing there so I was coming back to America. So really I guess it wasn't a holiday"
Shannon thought she had covered up her anxiety okay. There was no way she could give Sun the real reason for her being there..not when Sun seemed to actually like her. Telling her the truth would definatley stop any friendship they may have in its tracks.
"Oh sorry..did I make you hungry? I have half a chocolate bar in my pocket. Just don't tell Boone okay..he thinks I dont eat chocolate. Well..usually I don't but..its not like I can pick up a salad from the salad bar is it so.."
She picked the bar out of her pocket..it looked a little melted. She wasn't sure of the eat by date either but she figured it would be okay.
" Well..you can have it if you want it." , she smiled.

Sun smiled at Shannon.
"Oh." Sun answered nodding, "Well, ours wasn't exactly a holiday either." Sun answered plainly as she thought of the past before the island.
Sun had began to like Shannon, but not enough to tell her or anyone her past and the real reasons she had been on the flight 815.
Sun rubbed her belly and then her eyes. Sun smiled and held out her hand, "No I'm not hungry, infact I'm full." Sun said thinking of the many fruit she had earlier though..
"Thank you very much for the offer, I'm okay." Sun said grinning. "I'm awfully tierd, it's really this gray sky that's making me weary." Sun looked up for a moment, the gray sky bright, was blinding for Suns eyes as she squinted.
Sun wondered if Jin needed her. She sighed, she liked to talk to Shannon. "I should be going soon, Jin might be lost in finding me." Sun smiled and giggled a bit. "I liked chatting with you Shannon, it was nice to get to know you." Sun added still smiling gently and kindly as she relaxed her eyes.
